Humberside Fire and Rescue Service launches a Facebook Like & Share competition
Schools and individuals in the Humberside area are invited to take part in a Facebook Like and Share competition for a chance to win a Fire and Rescue Service experience for their school.
To enter, members of the public or schools must have liked the corresponding Facebook post on the Humberside Fire and Rescue Service Facebook page, and should tag or type their chosen school’s name in the comment box. They should then share the post.
The competition will run from Tuesday 4 September to Monday 24 September, and a school will be chosen at random after the competition has closed.
The Service ran a similar competition earlier in the year, with Bricknell Primary School being chosen as the overall winner. The schoolchildren enjoyed a visit from mascot Blaze Bear, a visit from local station Calvert Lane with a chance to sit in the fire engine and test out the hoses, and a talk with local Public Safety Advocates who provided some really important safety advice around the home.
Entries are encouraged from both Primary and Secondary schools in the area.
