Final preparations are underway for Rescue Day 2016 - the largest emergency services event of its kind in the world.

Members of the press came along on media day to see a series of rescue demonstrations at 7 Lakes Country Park near Crowle, North Lincs.

A boat rescue was carried out by the Humberside Fire and Rescue team and Humber Rescue on the main lake, before Storm and Sonar, two Newfoundland rescue dogs, swam out to pull a casualty from the water. They are likely to be the stars of the show on Saturday 9 July!

Helimed 29 dropped in to join the impressive line up who will all be on show come the weekend.

Gates open at 9.00am and the fun starts at 10.00am.
