Humberside Fire and Rescue Service and Humberside Police have been sharing fleet services since 2015 and this collaboration saw the launch of Emergency Services Fleet Management Limited (ESFM).

Following the introduction of an apprenticeship scheme, ESFM is delighted to announce that Josh Waites and Emily Scott have achieved top awards from their respective educational bodies.

Josh received his award from Hull College for ‘Best progression into motor vehicle employment’ in the Engineering Computing and Science awards 2016/17. Josh has just completed the first year of a two year apprenticeship with a view to taking up a substantive role at ESFM upon completion.

Emily received her award from Hull Training and Adult Education for ‘Apprentice of the year – Business, Creative & Digital’ in the HTAE awards 2017. Emily will shortly begin a second year of study whilst taking up a substantive role with at ESFM.

Both Josh and Emily have been an asset to the organisation, and their experience has encouraged ESFM to take on further apprenticeship roles in the near future.
