How to find us

We're making the most of what Hull has to offer during the UK City of Culture 2017.

It's a short walk between the Challenge locations, why not make the most of your visit and see what else is going on in the city centre

Making the most of your visit to East Yorkshire and Hull UK City of Culture 2017

Why not make the most of your visit to UK City of Culture 2017. Hull has a wealth of city centre museums and galleries, with recent regeneration to the city’s existing fruit market in the Marina, which has now been transformed into a vibrant art scene of galleries, cafes and bars. Enjoy a walk through the city’s old town, visiting the museum quarter and a short walk away from the award winning, The Deep, an aquarium which is also an iconic building along the river Humber.

Staying for longer? Hull is a short distance from the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds, with the Wolds Way walk starting in nearby Hessle. As well as being within an hour’s drive to the coast, there are a variety of seaside resorts such as Bridlington, Hornsea and Withernsea, as well as nature reserves at Spurn Point and Bempton Cliffs. There’s plenty to do across the river Humber, travelling over the Humber Bridge to nearby towns such as Barton upon Humber with rural idylls along the way to the coastal town of Cleethorpes and nearby Grimsby for more cultural adventures around it’s museums.
