Humberside Fire and Rescue have released their strategic plan consultation document which includes the Intergrated Risk Management Plan. This document outlines a number of proposals for the next three years including optimising the disposition of our resources. Please take the time to read the document. We would welcome your comments using either the online survey or the hard copy which you can print and return using our freepost address given in the document. This survey is only part of the consultation process which will also include independently run focus groups, presentations to key stakeholders and focused postal surveys. Alternatively you can e-mail your views to irmp@humbersidefire.gov.uk. Your views are very important to us and taking part in any form of consultation would be greatly appreciated. The consultation period will end on 31st March 2008.

16063 Tue 07/09/10 19:53 Second Avenue, Grimsby. Person shut in lift. Person released by Fire Service using hydraulic cutters and hand tools. Lift isolated by Fire Service, engineer en-route.

16053 Tue 07/09/10 17:54 Althorp Road, Hull, Kingswood. Female child with leg stuck in railings, manipulation used by Fire Service to release. Child left in the care of the paramedics.

16044 Tue 07/09/10 14:55 New Road, Hornsea. 2 car Road Traffic Collision, no persons trapped. Inspection only by Fire Service.

16043 Tue 07/09/10 14:46 West Close, Fangfoss. Car fire extinguished prior to arrival of Fire Service by resident using garden hose pipe. Vehicle made safe by disconnecting battery.

16034 Tue 07/09/10 12:15 Centenary Road, Goole. Pan of food left unattended in kitchen of sheltered bungalow. Pan removed to open air by Fire Service. 2 BA in use. PPV fan used to ventilate premises. Smoke detector activated. Pan damaged by fire and light smoke damage to kitchen of property.
