Humberside Fire and Rescue Service are pleased to announce that they are to hold their 1st Annual awards ceremony.
The awards will take place on 17th September 2009, at The Country Park Inn, Hessle and are designed to recognise and reward employees of the Service and members of the community for projects and/or initiatives they have carried out that have improved peoples lives.

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service are pleased to announce that they are to hold their 1st Annual awards ceremony.
The awards will take place on 17th September 2009, at The Country Park Inn, Hessle and are designed to recognise and reward employees of the Service and members of the community for projects and/or initiatives they have carried out that have improved peoples lives.
The prestigious event will be hosted by Blaire Jacobs of BBC’s Look North, with celebrated playwright and Creative Director of Hull Truck Theatre – John Godber presenting the awards and after dinner speaker.
Humberside Fire and Rescue Service is your Fire and Rescue Service and so they would like to hear your stories about the positive work going on in your communities.
The awards categories are as follows:
INTERNAL AWARDS:- Individual Award – Service to the community
- Project / Team / Individual to have the most impact on Improving People’s Lives
- Project / Team / Individual to have the most impact on Safer People Safer Fire fighters
- Project which most engages with members of the public and vulnerable and hard to reach groups in a positive way.
- Awards for Inspiring others.
- Partner organisation that has the greatest impact on helping HFRS to Improve People’s Lives.
- Partner organisation most active in assisting HFRS to engage with hard to reach and vulnerable members of our community.
- Youth Group / Individual Young Person of the Year (award sponsored by Infiniti Group)
- Local Hero
- North Bank Community Award
- South Bank Community Award
