Following public consultation, the Humberside Fire Authority (HFA) has agreed a 2010/11 Council Tax Precept increase of 1.64%.
A leaflet detailing this increase, and the services it will fund, is now being distributed to all households in Humberside.

The level of the Council Tax precept for Humberside Fire and Rescue Service is currently under discussion. The aim of the consultation is to gain an understanding as to your preferred level of the precept. We are acutely aware that times are due to get hard for all public sector organisations and we are working on plans to enable us to continue delivering a high level of service in the face of potential budget cuts.
