Humberside Fire and Rescue Service welcomes enquiries from suppliers, as it believes by working together it can enhance the quality of service it offers the citizens that it serves.
The information listed below has been compiled to show the range of products and services procured and the individuals with responsibility for the procurement of that product or service on behalf of the Chief Fire Officer.
Suppliers should note that the service, when tendering for goods and services, will consider 'the most economically advantageous' and is not bound to accept the lowest or in fact any tender. Other issues such as quality, service, reliability, delivery, etc. will influence the decision. However, the criteria chosen will be detailed in the Invitation to Tender.
All suppliers wishing to enter into contracts with Humberside Fire and Rescue Service will be expected to comply with the Fire Authority’s 'Conditions of Contract for the Execution of Works or the Supply of Goods, Materials and Works'. This document forms part of the Invitation to tender and must be signed by the supplier prior to any contract award.

Although the Chief Fire Officer has overall responsibility for the efficient running of the Service he has specialist officers to assist him in the day to day procurement of goods and services. These officers are all based at our HQ address.
