Humberside Fire Authority
Humberside Fire Authority was formed on 1 April 1996. This was achieved by Combination Scheme Order being passed by Parliament. Since then Humberside Fire and Rescue Service has served communities within the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Kingston upon Hull City Council, North East Lincolnshire Council and North Lincolnshire Council.
Elected Members are drawn from these Authorities to sit on the Fire Authority with an agreed representation of:
- East Riding: 7 seats
- Hull City: 6 seats
- North East Lincs: 4 seats
- North Lincs: 4 seats
